We can see concept cell phones around the internet almost in a daily basis, mostly looking like something took directly from Star Trek. Actually, most of them seems to be just different parts of the Enterprise's control board placed in a handset.

But some can still be noticed, like this one, the S-Series� from the designer Simon Enever. It is a beautiful concept that uses noble wood and results in a stylish and elegant gadget.

In the designer's own words:

looking at a new direction in styling for mobile phones.
looking at the market there is a distinct lack of “ultra stylish� phones. the few there are lack best features like top quality camera, large screen etc.
i tried to inject �my style� into a slightly more than standard slider phone.
the main concept being no need to open the phone to use all the features, apart from typing text.
main body made from wood, black acrylic wrap around facia, brushed aluminium/ steel features.
