Maybe, after the hint, you guessed it right. The Obelisk is a 5 pieces outdoor furniture set composed of four chairs and one table. When assembled, as a puzzle, it has the form that names it.

It is designed by Frank Ligthart for Dedon, a German based company present in 16 countries and specialized in produce high quality outdoors furniture.

Well, the Obelisk must be a quality product, as it has a retail price of $9,890 in US.

You might remember growing crystals as a science project back in school. Well, Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka didn’t forget so he grew natural crystals to form a chair! It is called the Venus Chair. He created it for his exhibition, Second Nature in Tokyo later this month. He wanted each of the artists participating in this event to ”convey the mysterious power of nature and life”. His vision of fusing technology with nature is why he called his exhibition Second Nature.

The bed faces gravitation with magnets and it can support up to 900 kilos and is supported by four steel cables. The scale model of the bed was presented at the Millionaire Fair in June 2006 and the floating bed is estimated to be priced around 115,000 Euros for the scale model and for complete model expect to lay down around 1.2 million Euros.
